I’m one of those rare Arizona Native’s having grown up in both Chandler & Benson, extra points if you know where Benson is ;). I was fortunate enough to grow up in two entrepreneurial households, my dad owning a window covering company and my stepdad owning a print shop and working as a professional DJ. The culture I grew up in had me begin my working career at age 5 helping one Dad install window coverings and the other haul around DJ equipment. The lessons I learned about work, service and what it means to provide value to your community are invaluable and a centerpiece in my own personal philosophy.

After High School I enlisted in the Army as an Infantryman. I made the rank of Sergeant just after my 2-year mark and became the youngest Non-Commissioned Officer in my Brigade of over 3,500 soldiers at 20 years old and would end up leading Soldiers in Combat before my 21st birthday. By the time I left the Army in 2014 I had completed two Combat tours, one to Iraq and the second in Afghanistan.

Shortly after getting out of the Army, my dad and I started Carpets of Arizona, and as they say the rest is history!

I have a wonderful wife, an amazing son Colt (check out our social media for some cute Colt Content) and as I write this in January of 2022, we have a new baby on the way!

When I’m not working or spending time with the family, you’ll likely find me at the golf course. Shooting for that single digit handicap in 2022!

fun fact

I am highly involved in public policy issues with an emphasis on Veterans issues. I have lobbied for landmark legislation such as the VA Accountability Act, VA Mission Act, and others. I also currently sit on Congresswoman Debbie Lesko’s Military and Veterans Advisory Board.
